About the client

Understanding our client: specifics, challenges, and custom solutions

The client is a US-based operations and services provider supporting online fashion brands with warehouse, fulfillment, and eCommerce operations. The business worked across multiple companies, online stores, warehouse locations, inventory records, orders, and purchase orders.
Its operating model depended on structured warehouse and eCommerce data across separate systems, making data accuracy and operational consistency important for daily fulfillment workflows.

Problem

The business needed a reliable way to keep warehouse management data aligned with multiple eCommerce stores. Orders, purchase orders, inventory records, warehouse locations, and store data had to move between the WMS and connected eCommerce platforms without creating fragmented integration logic for each company or store.
The challenge was not only data exchange. The client also needed a separate place to configure integrations, manage company and store connections, control warehouse-to-location mapping, and monitor synchronization processes so issues could be identified and investigated before they disrupted fulfillment workflows.

Solution

We developed a custom middleware application with an administrative interface for managing WMS and eCommerce platform integrations. The system allowed the client to configure companies, connected stores, API credentials, synchronization settings, and warehouse-to-location mapping in one controlled environment.
The middleware connected Shopify as the initial eCommerce integration with the client’s warehouse management system through API-based data exchange. It supported synchronization logic for orders, purchase orders, inventory, fulfillment updates, and warehouse-location relationships.
To support operational visibility, the solution also included synchronization statuses and action logs, helping the team monitor integration activity, identify errors, and investigate issues across connected systems.

Result

Performance Showcase: Unveiling the Results of Our Collaborative Endeavors

The client received a dedicated WMS integration middleware that brought eCommerce store connections, synchronization settings, warehouse-location mapping, and monitoring into one controlled system. This helped reduce fragmented integration logic and gave the team clearer visibility into data flows between the WMS and connected eCommerce platforms.
The platform supported more consistent order, purchase order, and inventory synchronization across companies, stores, and warehouse locations. It also created a stronger technical foundation for onboarding new clients, supporting existing clients, and scaling eCommerce fulfillment integrations with better operational control.
